This is your opportunity to get up close and personal with your favorite chefs who will lead interactive and informative cooking demonstrations in the KitchenAid kitchen.

 Saturday, September 17th

Join chef Tim Love (Lonesome Dove, Woodshed Smoke House, Love Shack, White Elephant Saloon, Queenie’s Steakhouse) as he teaches festivalgoers how to prep and grill The Perfect Steak. Long-time friends, chefs Nancy Silverton (Osteria Mozza, Pizzeria Mozza, La Brea Bakery) and festival partner Jonathan Waxman (Adele’s, Bajo Sexto Taco, Barbuto, Brezza Cucina, Jams, Waxman’s San Francisco) will each make the same dishes – His Way & Her Way.

Master the French art of cooking shellfish three ways with chef Ludo Lefebvre (Trois Mec, Petit Trois, Trois Familia) in Ménage à Trois of Mussels, and join Andrew Zimmern (Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern, Bizarre Foods America and Andrew Zimmern’s Bizarre World) as he shares some go-to recipes gathered from trips around the globe.

On Sunday, September 18th

Chef Vivian Howard (Chef & The Farmer, The Boiler Room) will demo how to make a Southern staple, Hoppin’ John Catfish, while chef Tony Mantuano (Spiaggia) will throw a Summer Pasta Party. During I’m All Ears, learn how to prep and cook one of chef Aarón Sánchez’s (Johnny Sánchez, Chopped, Taco Trip) favorite off-cuts, but Don’t Call My Ribs Short with chef Michael Symon (Lola Bistro, Lolita, B Spot Burgers, Roast, Bar Symon, Mabel’s BBQ).

Culinary, beverage and lifestyle experiences

The festival grounds at Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park will come alive on Saturday and Sunday with a variety of culinary, beverage and lifestyle experiences Around The Park. 21C Museum Hotels will host a Meet the Maker Tent featuring William Grant Cocktails. This series of intimate tastings will be hosted by craft industry experts in wine, beer, bourbon, scotch and gin, each filled to the brim with knowledge and thirst-quenching cocktails.

Wild Tiki!

Taste tiki in a whole new way as Campari and The Patterson House present “Wild Tiki!” The Patterson House will mix up refreshing tiki cocktails using Wild Turkey and other spirits from the Campari portfolio.

Visit the Bulleit Bourbon Woody Tailgate Trailer and learn how to elevate your tailgate with a delicious cocktail made with Bulleit’s family of award-winning high rye whiskeys.

Tequila Don Julio’s mantra is “You’re only as good as the company you keep and the Tequila you drink.” Festival attendees are encouraged to meet friends by the Don Julio 1942 truck for a refreshing cocktail and a taste of Don Julio’s finer marques.

Come by the Open Gate Brewery to share a pint, laughs and talk all things beer with Guinness Brewery Ambassadors and sample curious and unusual cocktails with the Hendrick’s Curious Cocktail Configurator. (Additionally: learn what a Hendrick’s Curious Cocktail Configurator is.)

Sail over and experience the Hope Family Wines’ Treana Yacht Club. Relax in the lounge, or captain the luxury yacht, all while enjoying opulent Treana wines. Patrón Tequila will be serving classic cocktails with a tequila switch up, or cool off with Patrón infused popsicles.

Travel to the West Coast to taste Meiomi’s Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from three exceptional coastal California regions.

Soda Sommeliers with Pepsi Cola

Music City Food + Wine invites attendees to an exclusive tasting of the all-new 1893 From the Makers of Pepsi Cola. Sample boldly blended colas in two unique flavors – Ginger and Original –by Pepsi’s finest “soda sommeliers.”

Rodney Strong Vineyards Wine & Bites Tent

Experience the intersection of place and palate at the Rodney Strong Vineyards Wine & Bites Tent with pairings of Rodney Strong wines and bites from chef Jason Dady (Tre Trattoria, Tre Enoteca, Two Bros BBQ, DUK Truck, B&D Ice House, Shuck Shack). Come Share the Table™ with Barilla pasta and sample delicious recipes while getting some culinary secrets from the chefs. Big Green Egg will be grilling, roasting, smoking and baking at the Big Green Egg tent, and festivalgoers are invited to see (and taste) why it’s The Ultimate Cooking Experience.

Hattie B’s Hot Chicken Pop-Up

Join Hattie B’s Hot Chicken Pop-Up for a taste of this family-owned restaurant’s signature style, where Southern hospitality and delicious flavors yield spicy, satisfying results. Stop by the Sahale Snacks® Flavor Experience for a unique interactive adventure that appeals to all of the senses – sight, touch, taste, sound and smell – and discover the unique flavor match true to your snacking personality while learning about the thoughtfully sourced ingredients.

The Williams-Sonoma Pastry Tent Presented by USA Pan will be brimming with samples from Nashville’s best bakeries, pastry-inspired designs from local artists and demos from the top pastry chefs in the South, curated by Nashville’s own pastry chef Lisa Donovan (Buttermilk Road). Stop by to unlock the secrets of Southern baking and pick up a few sweet souvenirs.

Visit the KitchenAid tent to see all of the latest kitchen offerings, including the new Artisan® Mini 3.5-Quart Stand Mixer and Dishwasher with window and lighted interior. Also, watch your favorite chefs cook at the KitchenAid demonstration kitchen.
