Our schedules are so busy during the week that when the weekend arrives, we like to chill! After biking or a long walk thorough the neighborhood, one of our favorite things to do just to hang out together and enjoy a plateful of cheese, bread and cider!

Tieton Cider Works Dry Cider is a great accompaniment to my favorite Spanish Cheeses, Manchego and Iberico. Pretzel bread is now available everywhere and we just LOVE it and how it pairs with the cheeses.

Tieton’s Dry Cider Blend is clean on the palate with flavors of tart green apples and fresh citrus. It’s pleasantly mouth-watering and pairs perfectly with my favorite salty, nutty and creamy cheeses from Spain. It is also delicious paired with lemon-roasted chicken or baked halibut with capers and lemons. Pretzel bread can be purchased at Whole Foods and they will even slice it for you. The combined delicate saltiness of the bread with the creamy cheeses paired with Tieton Blend Dry Cider is AMAZING!

Tieton Cider Works Ciders are made with freshly pressed juice from their own varieties of apples at Harmony Orchards in the Yakima Valley of Washington State in the Pacific Northwest. Their blend of American, English and French varieties of apples produces the blend necessary for the complex flavors in the ciders.

Plenty more weekend outdoor grilling opportunities are still ahead and will continue even through the Labor Day Holiday.
My family is obsessed with charcoal grilled burgers of any kind. And, it’s NEVER the wrong season to grill burgers at my house, especially when the levels of humidity and heat drop to a reasonable level so we can enjoy our new patio.

Teiton Cider Works Wild Washington Semi-Dry Cider is such a perfect match for my favorite burgers! This delightfully aromatic semi-dry cider has balanced sweetness with all of the tartness from the first crunchy bite of a fresh juicy red apple. I detected a tiny hint of spices that would remind me of a fresh-baked apple pie and the tangy tartness reminded me of citrusy lemon zest and made my mouth water!
Wild Washington Cider would pair equally as well with your favorite marinated and grilled steaks or a bowl full of rigatoni and sausage with thick red sauce for a great alternative to a wine pairing!

Juicy Blueberry Pie, a perennial summertime favorite, paired with Tieton Cider Works Sweet Cider is a mouthwatering match for your favorite desserts from your bounty of local berries!

There is nothing that defines summertime and comfort food more than a berry pie made from scratch with the berries that you picked this summer.  The best part is that you probably have berries in the freezer so you can serve this while the summer heat is still on OR for the upcoming autumn months. This pairing would complete a fall evening dinner and would be a grand end to a Thanksgiving feast!

Tieton’s Cider Works Blossom Nectar is pleasantly sweet with aromas and flavors of juicy, fresh ripe apples from the Pacific Northwest. Hints of vanilla and juicy honeydew melon dance around in your mouth with the effervescence from the fermentation. The sweetness is delicate, like honeysuckle, and is balanced with the acidity that is produced  from the blending of a variety of apples from the Pacific Northwest.

Blossom Nectar Cider pairs well with blueberry pie and vanilla ice cream and also pairs well with a any dessert,  local creamy goat cheese, spicy foods such as Thai food or a rich and savory wood-oven pizza from your favorite artisan pizza restaurant!
