La Bodega Gourmet Features Seafood Paella Happy Hour Every Wednesday and Thursday

If paella makes you as happy as it does us, then head on over to La Bodega Gourmet in Bee Cave for your weekly paella fix. By any bottle of wine and one Seafood Paella and get another Seafood Paella Free! How’s that for the happiest of happy hours!

Happy Hour is from 6 to 8:30pm so you have plenty of time to relax, enjoy and be happy!

Eric Paz, owner, entrepreneur and chef, is the ultimate Paella Chef. From his Spanish and Panamanian roots, he cannot help but create delectable and authentic Spanish tapas and paella. I’ve known Eric for several years from the yearly Paella cook-off and have thoroughly enjoyed hanging out at his restaurant sipping on Rioja, sampling cheese, tapas and paella. Eric has several hand-selected wines to enjoy with paella or tapas. Raiza Reserva Rioja is the house speciality and is a perfect addition to the meal. We enjoyed this  dark fruit and warm spice-filled Tempranillo with our paellas.

The seafood is fresh and the paella is seasoned to perfection. It’s as gorgeous as it is tasty!
Chef Eric has an array of artisanal cheeses  and marinated olives for tapas in the restaurant and for cheese boards. The ginger jelly with Raw cow’s milk cheese and Texas Mano de Dioz was a perfect pre-paella snack. He even serves Spanish bread to go with all that amazing cheese.
Even the cheesecake had a Spanish flare. Chef Eric created a berry Sangria puree for the cheesecake. MUST HAVE!
The house-sangria is one of the best Sangria’s I have ever had.
