Sip, Savor and Feast Under the Stars Thursday, April 23rd at Auditorium Shores

Feast Under the Stars is one of the most anticipated pre-festival al fresco dining experiences that kicks off the Austin Food + Wine Festival 2020.

Who doesn’t love dining al fresco!

Every April, food-wine-spirit lovers from all around look forward to the epic three-day outdoor food and wine adventure, the Austin Food + Wine Festival. Feast Under the Stars is a one-of-a-kind dining experience taking place the Thursday night before the opening of the festival.

You have to experience it to believe how awesome it is!

For one evening, Auditorium Shores is transformed into a chic al fresco upscale yet intimate dining experience under the great big Texas sky. You will be served glasses of high end wines and gourmet plates of food prepared by some Austin’s top chefs with locally owned upscale restaurants. This year’s guest chefs include Kevin Fink (Hestia), Bryce Gilmore (Barley Swine) and and Trevor Moran (Locust).  It’s quite the experience! It is well organized and everyone is served quickly in unison while each chef takes the mic and introduces themselves and lets us know what fabulous dish is being served and a bit about the wines you are sipping.

This year, sustainability will be the focus of our pre-Festival (Zerofoodprint.org). They have partnered with chefs that are committed to fighting climate change through their craft. The collaborative menu will feature seasonal ingredients sourced directly from local farms prepared in ways that reduce and minimize waste.

The wines have each been carefully chosen to pair with each mouthwatering course. You will not leave hungry. Every time I attend this event, I make new friends and have delightful conversation with those around me.

Hope to see you there! Get your tickets now, they always sell out fast! Austin Food + Wine Festival
